This uninhabited island of the Pacific Ocean – Henderson. Moreover hard-to-reach and at the same time the dirtiest island in the world, since its beaches are literally littered with plastic trash.

In addition, rare species of birds and animals live on it, plants grow, some of them endemic.

Henderson belongs to the UK, it was opened in 1606, however, its current name was received much later – in 1819 the year when the fleet of England led by the captain came here Henderson.
Despite the fact that the island is considered uninhabited, on it discovered caves with burials of people and cave paintings, then there are ancient inhabitants here once were. Where did they come from island and why they left it, for scientists this remains a mystery.
