Chandra Bahadur Dangi, who was considered the smallest man on Earth, died at the age of seventy-six. Seven days he was hospitalized back due to pneumonia. And here it is not gone.
Chandra Dangi was a native of Nepal and lived all his life in a remote village, completely cut off from civilization – four hundred kilometers from Kathmandu. Only in seventy-two years of his chance scientists discovered and brought to the capital of Nepal, since this the man was only fifty-five centimeters tall. This happened in 2012, soon his name was entered in the Book of Records Guinness.
Note that in the Dangi family, all men, that is, all of his five brothers, had normal growth, and only Chandra was on surprise undersized. Moreover, according to statistics, such people do not live long, and this midget and at seventy felt fine and still working helping his family, and at seventy-two he even became world celebrity and went to travel the world.
Last November, he met with the highest the man in the world – Sultan Kosen from Turkey, who had growth about two and a half meters. The meeting took place in the capital Great Britain, where World Records Day was celebrated at that time Guinness.
By the way, until last year, that is, exactly when Chandra Bahadur Dangi traveled the world, the tallest man in the world was Ukrainian Leonid Stadnik. However, for some unknown reason, that I didn’t want to officially register in the Book of Records Guinness, and therefore really the smallest and tallest man never met. And today they are both beyond the line from where if they return to Earth, then only in another body.
