According to NASA, smoke from fires in Siberia has already reached Alaska and the west coast of Canada.
NASA scientist Colin Ceftor said smoke spreading over the entire eastern part of Russia went to Alaska and went down to the west coast of Canada. Then the smoke reaches Seattle and Vancouver
Smoke movement was monitored from satellites. Other than that, smoke, reached Alaska mixed with smoke from local fires.
Recently, Roskosmos published on its official website satellite images of fires in Buryatia, Krasnoyarsk Territory, Irkutsk areas and other parts of Siberia.
Roscosmos units probed about two million square kilometers of the Russian Federation in order to identify places requiring special attention and operational action.
