29-year-old Spanish criminal Gonzalo Montoya Jimenez woke up in prison morgue when the pathologist had already applied his body marks for autopsy.
On the morning of that day, the prisoner did not leave his cell for roll call. Three doctors examined the man and found him dead, since Gonzalo did not have a pulse, showed rigor mortis and was covered with dark spots. Spaniard was placed in a plastic bag and taken to the morgue, where they were to open it.
A day earlier, a prisoner complained of disgusting health, therefore, the prison administration reasonably considered that Jimenez had died. If the criminal hadn’t snored in his bag, a pathologist, perhaps he wouldn’t even have guessed that a living person was lying in front of him, and began an autopsy. Specialists subsequently concluded that the man suffers from cyanosis – a dark coloration of the skin and mucous membranes, caused by high carboxyhemoglobin in the blood. Exactly these are doctors and have taken for cadaveric spots. However why is the spanish froze, and for what reason his pulse then disappeared, remains a real mystery. Like the thing that brought him back to life, why he suddenly risen?
Gonzalo’s spouse and other relatives criticized the medical staff for negligence.
They have already drawn dotted lines on it with a marker and were preparing to cut it, ”the prisoner’s wife told reporters, – this is pure negligence on the part of medical staff jail.
Relatives of Jimenez are convinced that one of the doctors casually examined a man and therefore negligently concluded death, and two the rest simply signed the document without bothering to execute their duties are common, they say, in such cases. Administration prison, however, insists that Gonzalo carefully examined, and the Spaniard did not show vital signs important body functions. Similar cases are known to medicine when people fell into a state indistinguishable from death, and then again came to their senses.
