It must happen by reducing the cost of necessary equipment, experts say the agency. “Quick cut the cost of photovoltaic modules and systems in the last few years opens up new prospects for the use of solar energy as the main source of electricity in the coming years and decades, ”says IEA Executive Director Maria Vann der Huven.
