We have become so dependent on smart technologies that in the case of disruptions in the functioning of the Internet or space navigation, here let’s fall into a real planetary catastrophe. And then there robots are in full swing, which, in theory, scientists should make our life a real paradise.
That’s just this paradise, as a scientist warned in 2014 with world-famous Stephen Hawking, can at one moment turn into hell. However, who heeded this warning? And in general, is it possible stop the ever-accelerating process of conquering our world artificial intelligence?
For example, a group of scientists from the University of Vermont the other day with joyfully reported on a new achievement of science, as they managed create the first living robots, i.e. biorobots, whom they called – xenobot.
Xenobots were created on the basis of frog embryo cells, turned into a smart biomachine that can be programmed for any operation. Also this live programmable the body is able to regenerate itself restore.
This is what the head of this study, Joshua, writes about this. Bongar (Joshua Bongard):
Such biorobots can perform many useful for human operations for example travel through the human body with the goal of cleaning and treating the body. Larger biorobots will be collect microplastics in the oceans, identify radioactive zones and much more. That is, it will be an almost living creature, not at all similar to no one created by nature. Such a discovery promises humanity has great and bright prospects.

However, not all scientists in the world are delighted with this “breakthrough” in science. As the billionaire and inventor Ilon Musk once noted, moreover, he’s ready for many adventures, and therefore, probably, well knowing their consequences, scientists always compete with God. Wherein they do not have the main quality of God – a vision of the consequences of their action.
Indeed, if these xenobots learn not only recover, but also multiply, if at the same time they feel independence or, like insects, take over the collective mind. Only unlike natural, such a supermind can become Our world is not a creator, but a destroyer monster.
Of course, all these fears are groundless so far, but why then many fantastic books and films about the dangers of artificial intelligence? After all, as the sages say, man himself invents nothing can’t, he just draws knowledge from the universal treasury. A it means in Her there is such information as possible destruction humanity robots. And no matter what – iron or biological robots. The latter just seem even more monstrous …
