The thermal method of cultivating the land has been used for a long time, but in mainly steam is used in this case. However, in addition to steaming soil, in the last century, starting from the thirties, became apply its frying using “flamethrowers”, or rather – using fire cultivators operating on liquefied gas.

However, already in the sixties such a way of weed control, pests and pathogenic bacteria was found unprofitable and outdated: at that time a great faith in chemistry appeared.

However, in the 21st century, rural workers began to return to soil tillage, since chemical is not always effective, and harmful to the environment, not to mention the damage that is inflicted upon this by the cultural plantings themselves and in as a whole – to the quality of agricultural products.

True, modern fire cultivators are difficult to compare with agricultural machinery of the last century. They have become more economical, effective and safe. Currently equipment for heat treatment of land using fire are produced in the USA, Great Britain, Germany, Sweden, Holland, Denmark. In Russia, to Unfortunately, such a technique is not produced, but the fiery method itself tillage is practically not applied, although scientists say what is the best (albeit the most expensive) way to prepare farmland to sowing and planting, as well as weed control and pests, for example, the Colorado potato beetle.

But we admit, there are many people who personally saw how is this process going on? Even online web video showing cultivating farmland with fire cultivators, find almost impossible. Fiction, and more! Easier to find videos about flight to the moon or to Mars. Isn’t it strange …
