Representatives of Turkish company Albayrak Savunma reported reporters who started developing unusual underwater mines – in the form of stingrays. A project that is already being implemented since the first ramp mines should appear later this year, calls Wattozz.

Unique stingrays will be controlled using sonar signals, so that they will become imperceptible swim to the ship and easily magnetize to its bottom.

Such a mobile mine is equipped with three electric motors, two video cameras, so the “ramp” can easily and very maneuverably move for 12 hours with maximum at a speed of 10 kilometers per hour. In case of danger, mine scan without labor lies at the bottom, becoming for any observer “invisible.”
