The main feature of such a shell is the built-in fuse, in which you can change the time of its operation. Time fuse response is automatically calculated by the computer on based on the current range to the target.
Currently shells with the above caliber (57 mm) are used in the combat module AU-220M Baikal, and it is planned use in the well-known combat vehicles “Armata”, “Boomerang”, Kurganets-25.
According to the head of the “Instrument” Yu. Nabokov, data analogues shells with declared characteristics will be created for 30 mm cannons used in infantry fighting vehicles and armored personnel carriers.
