Some people just love to visit different graveyards, however walking around the cemetery for fun, as it turns out, is not so harmless and safe, as they seem at first glance.
As a certain Lyudmila shared on the Internet, she is on her own sad experience was convinced of this. They are six years old that summer my daughter and I once went to a neighboring village to swim in a river. Day was just wonderful for such a walk! And even meandering the road along which they returned from the river seemed to them then a real fairy tale.
And then suddenly I came across a village graveyard, past which I was passing their car. Either at the request of a daughter, or from some own curiosities (the woman no longer remembers this), but they stopped and decided to take a walk among the graves, especially since the day was sunny, affectionate, invigorating, and foreshadowed nothing in this walk bad.
Zhenya and the child walked between the fences, read the inscriptions, watched photos on the monuments. And to those graves that were completely groomed and abandoned, began to put sweets with good wishes to the departed for eternal sleep. Thought that way they perform a good deed by veneration of nameless dead.
That’s all, but the worst thing started at night. All these perfumes the deceased whom they disturbed (or invited alms, some wrong actions), came closer to them by midnight to visit. They scurried about the rooms, thundered dishes on the kitchen, slammed the doors. Lyudmila, climbing under the covers with her head, praying, mentally asking these restless souls to leave her house in peace. With that I forgot a disturbing sleep in the morning.
And she had a wonderful dream: as if they were talking male and female voices (as if by themselves, without a body). Leave here, exhorted man, stop scaring the unfortunate already. Nothing will happen to them a woman was laughing, my late daddy also scared me of at night …
Fortunately, says Lyudmila, this nightmare has survived only I, he somehow did not touch his daughter: she immediately that evening fell asleep soundly. But most importantly, thanks to my prayers, but Higher powers took pity on me and forgave me my stupidity, since the spirits of the deceased are no longer in my house visited.
Since then, the woman never went to the cemetery for a walk, and indeed I didn’t allow my children this. This activity is not completely harmless – disturb the dead, especially if you do not know the rules of visiting pogosts (watch this video) …
