This is by no means an advertisement, just as it turned out researchers at UCL (University of London College) by quite serious and large-scale study, visiting cultural institutions such as theater, art gallery, museum, exhibition (here there is a reservation that not all exhibitions are good), positive affects the life expectancy of a person.
That’s what one of the participants in this study says about it. Dr. Daisy Frankfurt:
Just imagine that those who are seriously passionate cultural institutions such as theater, the risk of premature deaths are more than 30 percent lower than other people. Even visiting the theater twice a year reduces this risk by 1O – 15 percent.
Note that the scientists of the College studied more than seven thousand families Britain, identifying the causes of premature death in people older fifty years old – and to some surprise (regarding numbers) and found such a strange natural satisfaction pattern. However, why is it strange? As many say avid theatergoers, after watching a good performance as if shaking off the dust of vanity in a few years. No wonder that in this case, the human body may well be rejuvenated.
True, Daisy Frankfurt herself makes a reservation that all of these studies can only be considered as sketches for further exploring how cultural institutions influence life person, including his health, youth and life span. That is, work in this regard is still an edge no end.
But the main thing is still noticed: be that as it may, but visit theaters, museums and other similar establishments are useful, and therefore regret it’s not worth the money and even more so the time. Rather on the contrary, these are the best investments in your health and longevity …
