But just such a “transparent egg” was created by Chinese scientists Tsinghua University. Or rather, created an artificial transparent shell made of an organic polymer in the form of chicken eggs. Ask – for what? And to make it more convenient to observe behind the development of the embryo.
So far, researchers have managed to keep in this artificial cocoon live embryo only for seventeen days, that is, until it was not enough just three days before the chickens had hatched. But great trouble – the beginning!
Such an experiment, according to Chinese scientists, will allow them to further cultivate inside a transparent cocoon various genetic variations and observe how in this case will lead embryo itself.
